In recent years, people have been dusting off their film cameras, many of them for the first time ever. A large part of these people are digital natives: people who grew up with digital technology. These digital natives are used to their cameras, often smartphones, doing the work for them.

By far, the biggest hurdle to learning film photography is learning how the camera and the film work. Between all of the components of the camera, there are a bunch of factors to consider to get a well-exposed photo.
